“Enthusiasm makes the difference”
~Dr. Norman Vincent Peale

Enthusiasm makes a big difference in our Daily Lives. How? Well, when you start your day- everyday, what you do depends on your mood. For example, if you woke up in a super good mood, you make breakfast for yourself and maybe for someone else. When you wake up in a unpleasant mood however, you don’t even want to talk to anyone. Your day starts and goes off by what you decided to do. If you decided to be lazy, probably you got nothing done. If you decided to be interactive and proactive you probably got what you wanted to get done, done. You only live life once, and by not being enthusiastic or anything, you’re wasting a day that you won’t get back ever again. So, for a good advice, I can advise you to work hard and work smart, with encouragement. No matter what happened or what’s on your mind, we still have to keep our day going, so might as well do it with Enthusiasm.

“I wasn’t trying to leave a legacy. I was trying to do what was right.”
~Dean Smith
Dean Smith maybe left a quite good impression about himself, not only through how an amazing coach he was, but also as a great human being with a good character. He states that he was only trying to do what’s right, and that however led him to be the greatest college basketball coach of all. We should all learn from him and try to mock good CTR people. This way, we can all end up in the right direction like Dean did, and maybe even become legends like him. In the end, our heart and mind have to be going for the goal of being a good, honest, and responsible person but we should never do it for the attention we might get. If this happens, are dreams might as well just come crashing down and we don’t give nor receive anything this way.

“Of all the work that is done or that can be done for our country, the greatest is that educating the BODY, the MIND, and above all the CHARACTER, giving spiritual and moral training to those who in a few years are themselves to decide the destinies of the nation”
~Theodore Roosevelt

As we can see, all the work being done in this world or right now, is not as great or as important of taking well care of our body, mind, and character. Sometimes we don’t even realize that these three things are part of our daily job, and we do get distracted. In the contrary, our jobs are for us to be able to help ourselves and others. We have to be in the best we can be starting from the top of our heads to the bottom of our feet. While having this we can now spread what we know to others. This comes from our part of character. Our body works only towards the good things in helping others, our mind does the job of being optimistic and positive, and finally our character is what helps us stay strong and build Us.

“Take responsibility for YOUR OWN body, mind, and spirit, for your own physical, and spiritual well-being.”
~Mr. C.S. Haymore

To take responsibility might already sound scary for some people, but to take responsibility for our own self is what we really have to be able to do. Our body, mind, and spirit is what makes all of us. If we don’t take care of ourselves, then no one else will. We can all have trouble with taking responsibility with one, or maybe all of them, but that cannot stop us from trying harder. If this takes you to the next level of being “CTR” then I can assure you that it’s worth it. No matter what people say, the only thing that matters is taking responsibility for yourself and all they want is to bring others down. I believe that all it takes is to think about the success you will have at the end result, and you also have to learn to love yourself.

  • Giving medication as prescribed by a physician
  • Taking vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and weight
  • Basic wound care including cleaning and bandaging injured areas
  • Giving injections of medication
  • Immunizations
  • Taking medical histories
  • Entering information into computer systems

Demand or need for this profession:
What is the Demand for LPNs? According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, LPN-related job growth is projected to be 22 percent through 2020. Growth above the national average makes an LPN credential attractive, and there are other reasons alicensed practical nurse is likely to find stellar job security in the future.
Reflection:
My opinion of the LPN profession is that it reminds me of a normal nurse a lot. However, I think that this wouldn’t be a really bad job to try. All I would really want is to get a job where I would be able to help people and myself, and that would help me in a lot of ways. Many people just do this for money and I think they have the right, but I also think they have the right to enjoy helping and working for others. Instead of staying in a selfish mind, they can cooperate and start growing in their talent.
