"What you are as a person is far more important than what you are as a basketball player."
~John Wooden
This quote is telling us that we should worry more about how we are, than what we do. For example, instead of focusing on how athletic or smart you are, you should try to help someone with their homework, or train someone to be better at a sport they love. It's not always about ourselves, it's also about the people around us that need to be noticed as well.
