Demand or Need for this Profession
Employment of health educators and community health workers is projected to grow 13 percent from 2014 to 2024, faster than the average for all occupations. Growth will be driven by efforts to improve health outcomes and to reduce healthcare costs by teaching people healthy habits and behaviors and explaining how to use available health care services.
I think I would like to study for this profession because it does interest me. Health Educators save lives in a way because they teach people how to properly take care of themselves knowing already what’s wrong with them. Also, being professional at this job can not only help you only save other people's lives, but also your families when they need it.
