Medical/Health Volunteer Opportunities

1. Centers for Disease Control (CDC):  The Peace Corps offers a unique experience to make a difference around the world and bring the benefits of that experience back home. There are a wide variety of volunteer positions to fill throughout the world, including health volunteers.

2. Christian Connections for International Health (CCIH):  Most important lesson anyone can learn from this experience is how to treat Ebola patients in Liberia and not becoming infected with the virus. The Strategic Plan includes outlining near-term goals and projects for the upcoming years. The four Focus Areas outlined in the Strategic Plan are Integration of Faith and Health, Health Systems Strengthening, Community-based Prevention and Care, Maternal and Child Health.

3. Global Service Corps (GSC):  Is a U.S based non-profit international development volunteer organization that offers service-learning volunteer, internship and study abroad opportunities in the countries where we serve. Semester students as well as other service-learning volunteers have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of Cambodia youth and in the development of the Cambodian society.

• You are able to find any useful program for volunteering on the internet. You don't have to call to get all the information, you just have to follow them on their email and start communicating with them so you start your volunteering. Also, this is a great thing to do, that it not only helps the people you're working with, but also yourself. You'll find amazing people and make new friends. You will end up with a clean and clear healthy soul.
